About Anastazyia

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, and I help people process and renegotiate trauma, supporting their journey to become the people, partners, or parents they want to be. By integrating the wisdom of the body with the insights of the mind, I help people reconnect with their natural capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My approach is grounded in somatic or body-based interventions (Somatic Experiencing®, Brainspotting, and polyvagal informed interventions like Safe and Sound Protocol). By working with the body and nervous system, we create space to reconnect with a sense of safety, choice, and personal power. Together, we build greater flexibility and resilience while expanding your capacity to navigate life’s challenges, experience joy, and deepen connection with yourself and others.

I believe meaningful therapy begins with feeling understood. My role is to create a collaborative space where we can explore your experiences with curiosity, compassion, and respect for the ways you have learned to adapt.

My approach integrates Somatic Experiencing®, attachment-based therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed parts work, and nervous system-informed approaches to create new experiences of safety, connection, and possibility in the present moment.

I work from a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed perspective, honoring that people experience the world in many different ways. Whether you are navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship challenges, trauma, or a new understanding of yourself, therapy can be a place to reconnect with your strengths and move toward a life that feels more aligned.

Outside the Therapy Room

When I’m not in the therapy room, I can be found exploring the things that stoke my curiosity and creativity. I love knitting scarves, reading, practicing yoga, traveling, and discovering new places with my kid (and writing accompanying imaginary playground reviews).

My own appreciation for deep interests, creativity, movement, and exploration shapes the way I support clients in embracing their own unique ways of thinking, relating, and being.
