Individual therapy sessions are a collaborative space where we explore your experiences, goals, relationships, emotions, and patterns with curiosity and compassion. I integrate approaches including Somatic Experiencing®, attachment-based therapy, parts work, and other trauma-informed methods to support lasting change.

Somatic Experiencing® is a trauma-informed body-based therapy approach that supports nervous system regulation and helps individuals gently process the effects of stress, trauma, and overwhelming experiences. SE focuses on developing awareness of body sensations, increasing capacity for regulation, and building a greater sense of safety and connection within yourself.

Yes, virtual therapy can be a very effective way to engage in meaningful therapeutic work, especially when it includes a strong focus on connection, attunement, and nervous system regulation. Through presence, resonance, and intentional therapeutic connection, we can create a supportive relationship that allows for exploration, healing, and growth from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
In virtual sessions, I incorporate body-based approaches that translate well online, including Somatic Experiencing®, guided awareness practices, supportive self-contact, grounding, movement, and other nervous system regulation tools. For many clients, meeting virtually allows them to practice new skills within their everyday environment and build greater awareness of their own capacity for regulation and connection.
Virtual therapy is available for clients located in Georgia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.

I do not currently participate as an in-network insurance provider. As an out-of-network therapist, I can provide a superbill with the information needed to request reimbursement from your insurance company if your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits. I recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to understand your coverage and reimbursement options.
